Overview

Want to learn a bit more about Try This at Home: Marriage? In this video, David Asscherick provides some insight into why he and Jennifer made the book and he highlights some of his favorite features.

About the Authors

David and Jennifer met nearly a quarter century ago when Jennifer was asked by a youth magazine to write about Adventism’s hot new evangelist. Since then they’ve worked on several projects together, staying in touch as friends. When David returned in 2021 from seven years in Australia, they decided to dedicate their collaborative efforts to healing, helping, and honing families. Thus Try This at Home was born.

Design Details

We were thrilled to work with David and Jennifer to design the brand identity for Try This at Home followed by the design and illustration of their first book in this life-changing series. Tap "More" to learn about some of our favorite design details within the Try This at Home series.

30 Day Love Journey Plan

Try This at Home: Marriage includes a 30-day Love Journey Plan which we designed to be easily accessed within the inside front cover. The plan only takes 30-45 minutes a day and will improve your marriage as you use the readings and exercises as your guide.

Try this at home

Well written and scripturally based. I’m not yet finished reading but love the book. Also, love the T-shirt design I also purchased

Well it’s not been 30 days

Firstly, preselecting five stars automatically reduces my rating to four.
Secondly, we have not even had the material for thirty days, and I am being asked for a review?
I appreciate the candid criticism regarding the incidental addition of the explanation note.
What I can comment on, so far, is that the book is of excellent quality, particularly for a paperback. The paper feels great, and it lays flat, which is a great feature.
Regarding the reading material, some interesting perspectives are presented, which is somewhat expected from David. They are not disagreeable, but thoughtful.
My wife and I are committed to working through the material to strengthen our wonderful marriage. I particularly enjoy our together time while working through the material.
