About the Authors

David and Jennifer met nearly a quarter century ago when Jennifer was asked by a youth magazine to write about Adventism’s hot new evangelist. Since then they’ve worked on several projects together, staying in touch as friends. When David returned in 2021 from seven years in Australia, they decided to dedicate their collaborative efforts to healing, helping, and honing families. Thus Try This at Home was born.

Very Helpful

The time of writing this review I have been married for almost 6 months. Once we got married, and we took the first 2-3 months of our new marriage to read this book and while we can't relate to everything talked about, it has been very helpful and insightful! We love the questions and reflections because for us it has helped to further foster a spirit of curiosity about one another and to conintue to have deep conversations with each other. This book is rooted in scripture which I love and is very practical which my wife loves. Thanks for writing this amazing book!

Best Marriage Book

My husband and I combined have ready so many marriage books they could fill a whole bookshelf and have been to many marriage seminars before and after our marriage just trying to know more about the subject. This book is by far the best one we have read. We feel it has a balanced view that is rooted and grounded in the Bible. Highly recommend!
