The Light and Life Journal was designed with three distinct sections—one for each book in the set—and essentially creates three journals in one.
Paper and Binding
The Journals are printed using a beautifully smooth paper that’s created for use in notebooks. The paper has a high opacity, and is acid-free to ensure your Journals look good for years to come.
In addition, the Journals are bound with a distinctive red thread using a method called Swiss Binding. This clever alternative to traditional binding doesn’t adhere the cover to the spine which allows the Journals to open flat for ease of use.
And because each of the pages are sewn in, you never have to worry about one falling out.
Join David Asscherick
The devotional rubric included in the journal was created by David Asscherick, and is the same model he uses when reading through these books.
The reading challenge for Steps to Christ (SC with DA) will start in January of 2023. You can join his livestream on Instagram as he records videos exploring the depths of each chapter, and explaining how he completed the devotional rubric, or follow along at your own pace on his YouTube channel.
If you want to get a taste for how awesome this experience is, David has already created videos for each chapter of The Desire of Ages in a series he called DA with DA, and each chapter of Patriarchs and Prophets in a series he called OT with DA.
Works with Any Edition
The Journal was designed as a companion to the Light and Life Collection, but can easily be used with any edition of Steps to Christ, Thoughts from the Mount of Blessing, and Christ's Object Lessons—including the free EGW Writings App created by the EGW Estate.
